This half day course will consider:

• the nature of dementia
• the impact of dementia on the person, those close to them & the professionals who care for them
• the many ways of communicating with a person who has dementia

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: this course is relevant to all staff who are managing patients with dementia

The course runs from 9.00am to 1.00pm at St Catherine's Education Centre and costs £45-00 ~ includes handouts, refreshments and lunch
